What came out of the brainstorming meeting?
19 January 2012
The eFIG brainstorming meeting was started with this question from our chairman, Kenneth Freeman: ‘Where do you think Interior Landscaping is going?’
After much discussion and accepting that eFIG has absolutely no budget, the premise and focus was agreed: Make plants more desirable
The plan:
• Designate a week in July –August as Happy Plant Week/National Plant Week
• Announce Office Plant of the month during this week – renamed to make it more appealing/sexier
• Encourage members to buy extra plants – the award winner – and deliver to their local media offices during that week
• Organise a number of eFIG guerrilla ‘pop-up’ offices to be built around the country funded by members working together and sponsored by suppliers
A lot of organisation and planning needed so we will meet again in February – 9th February at New Covent Garden Market (to be confirmed). Invite members to join and attend February meeting so that they can get involved.
We invite all members to join us at New Covent Garden Market on 9th February at 11.00 to discuss this further.
